Stunning color texture and element protection
This new windbreaker came just in time! We are finally in the brisk fall weather up here in Minnesota, and this windbreaker is going to be a new staple in my wardrobe. The look and feel are really sleek and comfortable. I am usually between a medium and large (I’m 5’11” and 195 lbs), and decided to go with a medium which does feel a little snug. So the only thing I would’ve done differently is go with a large, but it’s still a great jacket. Thanks for leveling up my style again TC!
The XL windbreaker fits perfectly for me. I'm around 5'7" and 220 lb, and I can say the fabrics, inner and outer, feel soft and comfy. The zipper goes all the way up to the neck, covering it properly along with the hoodie.
The arm length and width is well adapted to my size, so it doesn't feel tight or loose, just perfect. The torso, upper back and lower back, all feel comfortable, not baggy, making it look fantastic according to my wife.
Finally, zipper pockets are well proportioned, making it easy to transport small or light items, like you keys or wallet. Inner pockets were a pleasant surprise and a much needed feature.
Looks and feels great. Has some stretch for movement, but runs a little small, so if you want to layer underneath be sure to size up.
I was initially concerned about sizing, as I tend to be on the border with some TC items, but the XXL fits great. For reference, I’m 6’2” and 275 lbs, with a 54-inch chest. One of the best surprises was the amount of stretch, which you don't always expect from a windbreaker. It’s comfortable and forgiving, so even when zipped up, it doesn't feel tight or restrictive.
The length is pretty good, right on the cusp in the front with just a little extra in the back, which I really like.
In terms of performance, I wore it on a brisk, blustery Minnesota morning with temperatures in the upper 40s. Paired with a long-sleeve Henley, I stayed totally comfortable. The only thing I wish it had is a drawstring for the hood. While it's not oversized, a gust of wind can still knock it off.
The jacket is incredibly lightweight, making it perfect for packing on trips. I know this will get a ton of wear in both the fall and spring!
